English Willow Cricket Bats — Canada's Widest Range, Right Here in Edmonton
English willow is the choice of serious cricketers. The wood is pressed and graded for ping, pickup and durability, which is why the same models are trusted from club cricket in Alberta to international matches. At Alberta Cricket Store we stock one of the largest English willow ranges in Canada — 220+ bats from SS-TON, SG, DSC, GM, CA, Gray-Nicolls, MB, EM, MRF and more — in Short Handle (SH), Long Blade (LB) and junior sizes.
How to choose yours
- Grade: Grade 1 and Players Edition bats have the straightest grains and the best performance. Grade 2 and 3 give most of that performance at a friendlier price — ideal for regular club players.
- Weight: Most adult players settle between 2.7 and 2.12 lbs. Lighter bats suit timing and fast hands; heavier bats suit power hitters. Every bat in this collection lists its exact available weights.
- Handle & profile: Semi-oval handles are the most popular for control; duckbill and mid-low profiles help different styles of play.
